It’s good to hear from you Steve (Rugby). I’m glad somebody feels the same about Uggs. If I walked around town in big Guinness slippers people would look at me funny, but Uggs? No problem. Makes no sense. Other than that, life is good in Cali. I’m loving the weather and the burritos. Honestly, a whole meal in a sausage form. Ingenious.

I particularly agree with your comments regarding ugg boots. High top slippers at best, and the last time I checked slippers were worn around the house.

Thanks Julie. I’ll do my best to keep up with at least a post a week, maybe two, but it’d be hard to make any promises. I’m not sure about a book. I struggle to maintain my focus for one post at a time let alone an entire book. But if I ever come across a topic I think I can talk a lot about I’ll be sure to follow up on it.

The job is a Development Associate position at a smaller children and families services non-profit. It’s in an old converted fire hall. I’m super stoked about the job and today was a good first day (a lot of names and acronyms to remember).

I second the motion. All those for an annual summer retreat say ‘aye’. All those opposed say ‘nay’. The ‘ayes’ have it. The next order of business will be locating a suitable cabin somewhere on the western side of the North American continent. I submit that we form a committee that will be responsible for locating a suitable venue. I also move that that committee consist entirely of the youngest brother. Will someone second the motion?
